Example from 2009:
A company that is producing renewable energy wants to enter the Romanian market. Together with a team of students, they develop an applicable strategy using innovative approaches.

>>> 1 Participants choose a real case from a specific company. The cases are one of the 3 main tracks:
- Innovation Management & Entrepreneurship
- Urban Design & Architecture
- Destination Management & Tourism

>>> 2 Within six days, participants work in teams of four to six, together with the company and a coach, on an innovative solution for the company’s case. Furthermore, participants will get academic input by professors in form of lectures and feedback by experts of the particular track.

>>> 3 All findings are presented at a closing ceremony where the best presentation is awarded.

>>> 4 Besides, a panel discussion connecting the three main tracks takes place in the middle of the Summer University, trying to provide the “big picture” of sustainable developing strategies, management and environment. Not only notable guest speakers from business, political and academic circles will attend, but it is open to the public.
