STARTup Jam – the unique event that pushes you to create and develop your own future!

Starting one’s own business often seems a far-fetched idea and therefore we try to make this possibility a little more tangible for students. Within the 3-days event, students from different types of schools can explore the field of entrepreneurship together from an interactive and engaging angle.

Workshops in creativity techniques and teambuilding are combined with informal working periods, in which the teams evaluate different business ideas and start working on innovative concepts to make them come true. The students are being supported by coaches and experts from different fields of startup creation, like marketers and financial investors. The program is enriched by a presentation from a well known startup founder, who acts as a role model for the students.

As a participant

Come and be inspired by other people’s ideas or come up with your very own business opportunity and test its feasibility. You will learn a lot about the creation of a team and the foundation of a business, not just by sitting there and listening to some presentation, but by being active, creative, and innovative. If you will carry on with your idea and your team after the event is up to you. If yes – good for you! And if not, we will still have reached our goal if the idea of starting a business at some point in your life became a little more realistic to you.

STARTup Jam is targeted at students in their last three years at an Austrian high school

(10.-12. Schulstufe AHS, 11.-13. Schulstufe BHS) and is therefore held in German. All students, whether they are already interested in entrepreneurship and bring their own ideas or just screening the world for interesting job opportunities, can participate.
