The business concept presentations are over. The START Vienna Team is presenting its own vision of its future.

Our teams have been working really hard, and the results are quite amazing. This morning we held a short update session to get a quick status report from the teams on their progress. We are really excited to see the final presentations tonight.

The first teams are arriving and enjoying the breakfast buffet.

Ideas: 7 groups were formed and working hard to improve their concepts.

Guests:

• representatives of six student organisations came to get a first-hand impression
• also tonight, our startup teams used the opportunity to discuss their progress with seasoned managers and entrepreneurs from various fields. Among them, we were happy to welcome Michael Brehm (StudiVZ founder), Cornelia Daniel (weisssee.com), Stefan Höffinger (Arthur D. Little) and Mike Borras (founder of tupalo), among many others. Our participants were challenged by their ‘sparing partners’ and received valuable advice.

Afterwork Yoga: Gloria, our film director and head of her own group here at startup weekend, volunteered to offer a special introduction to Yoga as a technique of refreshing one’s entrepreneurial energies. Turning our presentation floor into a temporary gym, a dozen participants followed her meditation procedure.

Late Night Sessions: Some groups opted for tonight’s “Vienna Night of Sciences” for new inspiration and hands-on teambuilding in town. Four teams are still in medias res and already getting started with preparing some slides for tomorrow’s final presentations.

We’ll be back online for breakfast tomorrow morning.

Gloria, one of our participants offered a free yoga class for everybody to refill the human battery.

The SUW participants are discussing their ideas and concepts with the experts from different fields. The START Vienna team provides food and drinks for new energy.  – Salami, bread, vegetables, and more…

After landing in Vienna, Ali from McGill University in Canada heard about SUW and decided immediately to join in.

Our earphone development group is giving a testing showcase of their future products in the cafeteria. My personal experience with the devices – they sound amazing, I am really excited to see their final concept.
